It
was winter time, I don't recall it being a snowy day, however, the
roads between our house and Firth never really got scrapped off all that
well. Anyways, we had just passed Rosie's house coming home from school
and were on that last straight away before we took the big corner
before home. Ann was driving, lacy was riding shotgun and I was in the
backseat in the brown/gold Toyota Celica that we got from Bart. Before we knew it, we were spinning! I think that was the
first time Lacy had ever hear me yell the word SHI# and after the car
came to a stop that was the first thing she commented on. Not that we
had just spun off the road, not that we were stuck, but that her little
brother just said shi#. Ann started walking. I don't remember where to though, I think she was actually walking towards Rosie's house. Well, a nice truck stopped and offered to help us out. Lacy and I were excited for their kind gesture. There was only one problem, Ann took the keys with her!
On the note of car fiascoes and driving to/from school. Who could forget the time we were driving to school in the blue VW Bug when the front hood popped open and a bag of trash went flying out! This is when there used to be dumpsters right past the river bridge going in to firth. That bug sure was fun. Ann would drive us everywhere in that thing. If it wouldn't start once we got to where we were going, we would just push start her! She had that thing figured out! Luke Mackoviak didn't quite have the same skill sets of pushing cars like we did. While waiting in the parking lot after school we witnessed him try the same car push starting option. There was one difference, the Moser kids were a team of three. He tried it on his own. I'm still not sure who's car he bumped into.
HAHAHAA! Lacy and Tyler ended up push starting that good old bug a lot!! And the car Luke hit belonged to Stacey Horkley...I wonder if Luke remembers that!
