Bye Bye Bronco

When mom and dad were trading in our Bronco I can remember Lacy and I getting very upset! The silly thing about this, beside us being so young yet so attached to a car, is that we were simply trading it in on another Bronco (if memory serves me correctly)! I can remember sitting in the very back (aka the cargo area) of the new car with Lacy and both of us BAWLING about how much we were going to miss the old Bronco. I can even still picture us driving away and leaving the old one behind. This just makes me giggle now but it sure wasn't funny to us at the time. Lacy might have another story about one of the Broncos...something about wrecking on the way to pick me up from school?
Hey look, it's Nippet!! And one of the Broncos

Another memory that's tied to one of those Broncos is when we drove to Idaho Falls to pick up two little puppies who were later named Mary and Eb. On the way home I remember sitting in the back with Eb, Lacy perhaps had Mary? and Eb got car sick...all over me. I remember this so well I can even tell you the vomit was mashed potatoes and corn!!

I don't remember much about those two dogs after that night, other than sitting at the busted screen door to talk to them and also every time we'd drive away from the house Mary, who was this adorable shaggy brown and white dog, would sit on the porch and cock her head to one side as she watched us leave.
